Surgical Summer? Could there be a deeper meaning to this term Pusha T used 3 times?
By now I’m sure you have heard about the beef going back and forth between Drake and Pusha T. Even the pop media has touched on it. But it is not until Pusha T released his latest diss track “Story of Adidon” that has this going VIRAL.
Pusha T did his homework for this one. Every single aspect of this song was well planned. From each word, to the beat that was used, everything had a purpose and one purpose only… to beat Drake down and make sure he doesn’t get back up.
By now everyone has posted their opinion on this well executed piece of work. From the bloggers, to the vloggers, to the meme creators. This has been so quickly and thoroughly dissected that and every word was clearly understood… except 2… “Surgical Summer”.
Basically, Pusha T implied that he has only scratched the surface with this, and if Drake wants to he has got a lot more to dish out. “Surgical Summer, Snip Snip Snip”… Remember those plastic surgery rumours about Drake and Dr. Miami. I think this is a clear message to Drake to stay down, don’t get back up. No two words have been mentioned more in this diss, and yet so unclear.
Is Pusha T strategically using that term as a precursor, a presage, for his next diss track? Hmmm, something to think about. I don’t know, Drake, if you can get back up from this beating you will have new found respect. If you don’t, this could be the end.
